Youth Ministry

FAYM (FRIENDLY AVENUE YOUTH MINISTRY)

Our Youth Ministry is a safe place where middle and high school students can grow in their faith in spiritual fellowship. We combine high-energy fun with honest conversations about life and Jesus, creating a space where every student feels seen, heard, and challenged to grow. Whether it’s through weekly gatherings, retreats, or serving our community, we’re dedicated to walking alongside students as they navigate their teenage years and discover their purpose in God's story.

Youth Ministry Mission Statement

“That they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.” (Isaiah 61:3)

FAYM offers teens a safe place to grow their faith and partners with parents to cultivate lifelong disciples of Jesus who are:

Rooted in the love of God,

Growing in the knowledge of Christ,

Bearing fruit as disciples by the Spirit.

Leadership

Our youth ministry is led by our Youth Minister, Landon Gardner. He works closely with his steering team, the Family Life Minister, and the Children’s Ministry team as they work to facilitate the spiritual growth of the next generation from birth to young adulthood.

Meet Our Youth Minister

My name is Landon Gardner, and I serve as the Youth Minister here at Friendly Avenue. Sharing the gospel with teens is my God-given passion and it’s my hope that they all receive the gift of salvation in Jesus Christ. I share this passion with my wife Hannah, who I met at Harding University. She and I went on many mission trips to Latin America and found a love for the Spanish-speaking community, a love we have the opportunity to put into practice here at Friendly in our Spanish Language Ministry. Feel free to contact me at landon@friendlyave.org or click the button below.
