WEDNESDAY NIGHTS: FOOD, FAITH, AND FELLOWSHIP
At Friendly Avenue, we believe that becoming Christ-centered disciples happens best when we share our lives together. Our Wednesday night fellowship is a casual, "come as you are" environment designed specifically to help us grow in loving care for one another and build deeper relationships across our church family.
The Schedule
-
6:00 PM – Community Meal: Join us in the fellowship hall for a meal shared with a welcoming heart. It’s a time to relax, catch up, and enjoy the generosity of our church family.
-
7:00 PM – After the Meal: To help you learn as lifelong followers of Jesus, we offer specialized classes for children, teens, and adults at 7:00 PM. We also recognize that at the end of a long day, your mind and spirit might simply need a place to rest; if so, you are invited to sit in with our praise team as they sing in preparation for our Sunday service. If the dinner conversation is going well, you are always welcome to remain in the fellowship hall and continue that joyful connection as long as you'd like to stay.
-
7:45 PM - Community Meal: In the spirit of our commitment to unity, you are invited to join our Spanish-language brothers and sisters in the lobby for a fellowship meal. As one church, this is a beautiful time to relax, catch up, and experience the hospitality and generosity of our entire church family.
Come as You Are
We know life is busy, so we’ve made this evening flexible to fit your schedule:
-
Need a night off from cooking? Come for the meal and head home afterward if you need to.
-
Running late? Skip the meal and join us just for the 7:00 PM classes.
-
New to the area? This is the perfect, low-pressure way to experience our hospitality and meet the family.
The main goal is simply to be together as a Spirit-filled community. We invite you to come when you can and stay as long as you're able!
