Contact: Steve Maple Current Ministry Needs: Help with monthly communion preparation. Ministry Goals: To get every male member of Friendly Avenue Church of Christ involved in our worship assembly service. Ministry Responsibilities/Tasks: Schedule members of the church for prayer, scripture reading, and communion service in the worship service on a monthly basis, and assist with baptisms at service times, collect attendance cards, count attendance, and take communion to those at home when requested. The deacon leading this ministry makes assignments, which are printed in the first bulletin each month. Reminder cards are mailed from the church office to worship leaders on a weekly basis. Preparation of the Lord's Supper is also part of this ministry. Those wishing to assist with this will find written instructions in the communion preparation room. |
