Contact: Kara Warner Leadership Training For Christ is a national program among churches of Christ designed to assist our young men and women to develop the character and talents essential for leading tomorrow's church. Participation in the Eastern Region LTC program began at Friendly Avenue in 2003. Ministry's Mission: LTC is a program for our youth, K-12, that emphasizes leadership skills, Bible knowledge, and servanthood. With the guidance and encouragement from the adults, the mission is to stimulate spiritual, mental, and social growth among all young men and women. Through this development our youth will become responsible church leaders and also Christian leaders in their homes, schools, and work. During this process we pray to create in the hearts of our youth the "desire" to serve God and others through their various gifts. Target Population: Youth, K-12, within the congregation, teaching everyone within the church and the community. Ministry Goals: To raise our children to strive to be like Christ both in leadership and servanthood. Ministry Responsibilities/Tasks: This ministry takes its responsibilities, along with those of the parents, for the spiritual growth of our children very seriously. We pray to train them to be leaders in their churches and also in all areas of their lives.
