Jason and Erica began serving in ministry at Friendly Avenue in May, 2006. After receiving a Bachelors of Arts in Christian Ministry from Abilene Christian University in 1999, Jason joined the staff at the First Colony Church of Christ in Sugar Land, TX. While at First Colony, Jason earned a Master of Arts in Religion from Abilene Christian, served as Youth Minister, and as the Minister of Small Groups and Community Involvement. Jason has worked in a variety of ministry specialties and yields a passion for ministry, for people and for the Lord.

Erica is a woman full of compassion and love for the Lord, and she holds two degrees in Education. She earned a BS from Abilene Christian, where she graduated valedictorian, and she received a master’s degree from The University of Houston. Currently, Erica is working on her PhD in Education from Texas A&M University. Erica taught secondary math in both public and Home School settings, and she currently specializes in pre-algebra through pre-calculus math education. While she is not teaching or learning, Erica's true passion and joy is taking care of her three children.

Emma and Hannah, twin girls, were born in April of 2003, and Jonathan was born in July of 2004. In the short span of 14 months Jason and Erica went from zero kids to three kids. Needles to say, their lives have never been the same. Jason and Erica both grew up in the state of Texas where they married on August 2nd, 1997. They are proud to call the triad area are their home, and they look forward to raising their kids in the great state of North Carolina.
